Ribbed with bamboo, this tall table lantern by Adesso has a collapsible white rice paper shade, lined with a second layer of rice paper, for a diffused, soft lighting effect. A line switch allows for overall operation of a 75-watt bulbs. Lamp has small chrome legs.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

These are great!
They are really light weight and collapse to about the size of a large pizza box, yet pop up to fill a whole corner of a large room with soft filtered light. Great if you move often and don't want the hassle, risk and expense of standard lamp packaging and shipping. I've had mine nearly a year and it's worked just like a lamp should (i.e. every time I turn it on ;)
My only regret is that I didn't buy two - easily remedied :)
