Cute but....
First, let me state, these lamps ARE cute - but if you are looking for something substantial or well made - they are not for you. I was as well, and while I was originally going to return one of them for exchange (lamp shade has a small dent in it and the silver is scratched in a few places on the one), I have decided since I was going to "funk up" the shade anyway, I might as well keep them. The seller of these was awesome when I told them they were damaged - but they need to advise the manufacturer, while cheap is good, cheaply made is NOT.
Not only was the one damaged, but the bottom of the one - whoever glued on the felt base needs glasses. It's on lopsided, causing the lamp to wobble. Where was quality control check for these? Again, since I decided to keep them, given my time constraints for company - I have decided to keep them as they are cute and what I was looking for in style - but I will be filling the base with some type of heavy material and...
