Nice fan for the turtle lover in your life
I purchased this fan for my husband who loves sea turtles. It was bigger than I expected and good quality. The details are really nice and it definitely makes a unique gift, one I haven't seen in the stores. The only reason I am rating this a 4 and not a 5 is because it is very loud. This makes it difficult to use on a night table or dresser when going to sleep. It is very powerful however and creates a nice breeze. I purchased this more for the look than the functionality though. All in all, a very nice gift for those who like this sort of thing.
Cute but BIG and a bit noisy
I saw this turtle at a silent auction and wanted one. Found it on Amazon and bought it. It is very cute but quite large, so you'd better have a good size table to set him on. Also, the motor was very loud and then quit. I called the company, and they sent a new motor for it. It was simple to install (for my husband, not me!) and works much better, but is still quite noisy.
