Perfect for work!
I love these lamps, they're perfect for my work desk. The bulb unit had to be screwed in, which was kind of annoying because the inside wire got all twisted in the process and there was no way to avoid/fix this. But I love the lamps, they stand at about 18" total, they're professional but comfortable, would probably use them in my house too. 40W max bulb, I use a 9W CFL bulb in it (60W brightness).

great little lamp duo!
I love these lamps. They fit very well on my small sofa end tables without overpowering them. I can possibly put additional decorative items there if I wanted. As the other reviewer mentioned, the wiring can get jumbled inside the lamp itself, as you must screw the top socket portion into the main unit, but once that hassle is figured out, then it's great. I would give them 4.5 stars if I could. The only reason I can't give the full 5, is because one of the lamps was slightly cracking near the top, but it is very hard to notice unless you're looking very closely at it. It wouldn't prevent me from buying it again, however. I'm happy overall with my purchase.
Didn't even work, and wasn't what i expected!
These lamps arrived a few days ago and my husband and I couldn't believe how cheap looking and tiny these lamps were! however, i needed them for my living room for extra lighting for family and friends arriving for funeral, so we decided to keep them. But when we plugged them in one lamp didn't work and we thought it may be the bulb or outlet, no! We tried two bulbs and three outlets, still nothing! so disappointed, and when i went online that night to do the return it only gives an option to "get approval for return through the seller" i still have had no response and they only give a small window for returns and they charge a restocking fee and you have to pay for shipping it back! what a hassle!!! When you call you get a answering service...Amazon do better with the companies you provide to customers!!!!
