Unique conversation piece...
This lamp (orange) is perfect for where we have it. It has a decidedly organic feel while still maintaining a fresh, modern appeal. The silhouette effect is spectacular when you light in the presence of someone you wasn't expecting it. Very pleased. However, I received mine last week and paid $42 with free shipping. You may want to wait for a price drop as I think it's appropriately priced at $42.

Very nice lamps, they seem to be well made and lasting. The lampshades are lovely when the lamp is turned on, it's a very nice effect.
Beautiful lamp
I bought these for bedside table lamps and they are very well made and beautiful to look at. I have been looking for a long time for "just the right lamp" and I think I finally found them. The shades are lovely when the lamps are on. I purchased the orange ones and like another reviewer said, they are a very pleasing shade of orange - not bright at all. I also like the wider base so they are very stable.
