System required warranty replacements to install correctly.
Earlier this year, I bought a Schlage keypad lock, and it was great - just the thing we needed to be able to give codes to our kids, the babysitter, etc. The downside was, you had to go through this manual process to activate or deactivate a code. Kind of a pain. Then I saw the Nexia system on Amazon - it was on sale, and it seemed to have every feature the original lock was missing:
- the ability to add and remove codes from the web interface
- the ability to set times where a code was active
Plus, it allowed control of other devices to control lights, thermostat, etc.
Sounds great, right? I thought so, too.
I bought the system, and when it arrived, I installed the lock (which remember, I had previously done successfully with a non-Nexia version, and it worked great - still does). The lock did not work. I un-installed it, and re-installed per the directions, double and triple checking the steps. Still dead. Now, I'm a pretty handy guy,...

Easy install and great product!
I purchased this kit for a rental property. The install was straight forward and fairly easy. Syncing to my Nexia bridge was also a very easy process. Now I can access the lock online and modify the codes, add temporary timed codes and track when the door has been locked or unlocked remotely.
I am a fan of the Nexia products from Schlage and this is another great product in the family!
One slick lock - Parents love it - teenagers not so much!
Okay, you have a teenager in the house and well you are getting tired or waiting up to see what time they are coming in... Or perhaps you want to be able to go away for the weekend and not worry that your house becomes party central!
Well here is the solution. Right out of the box this product works.
Setup is very straight forward, need to have access to wired connection to your router. Follow the on screen directions from the website and in about 5 mins your lock is all setup.
Now when your teenager comes home at 4am and tells you that they were home at midnight, well check your cell phone for the text message from the lock telling you exactly when your lovely teenager entered the code and unlocked the door.
